Tessuti di Sondrio

Tessuti di Sondrio has its roots in the heart of the Valtellina valley, which lies in the Italian Alps. This remarkable mill was founded in August 1895 by two Swiss families in the town of Sondrio.

Later, the Spelta and Keller families left Valtellina and sold the mill to the prominent Fossati family, who belonged to the very top of the Italian textile scene.

Over the following years, the company changed ownership several times, becoming part of the Tescon, Lanerossi and later the Cotoni di Sondrio groups. Eventually, it became part of the renowned Marzotto group.

Thanks to these investments and new strategies, Tessuti di Sondrio has become an internationally recognised name.

Today, Tessuti di Sondrio can boast a long history, a rich heritage and a broad portfolio of high-quality textile products.
