The much-loved chinos historically originated from the uniform trousers of the American army, worn by soldiers at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Their name, chinos, derives from the country where the uniforms for the American army were sewn at that time, which was China. Even then the main material was cotton. And so it has remained to this day.
Today's chinos come in various cut and fabric variations, but the most comfortable ones are made to measure from luxurious cotton fabrics. Either it is a 100% cotton weave, or an elastic fibre is added to increase its stretch. These are the ideal materials for maximum comfort, which is precisely why we sew our made-to-measure chinos from them.
The main benefit of tailored trousers is their perfectly fitting cut, adapted to the figure. Another advantage is the ability to choose the fabric, its colour and its pattern. Attention to detail is also important, for it is precisely in the details that you can express your unique taste.
